Tips for raising a labrador puppy?
Hi all We are planning a puppy in a couple of weeks and have already begun stockpiling supplies (Kennels, dog bed, lead, neck etc) I fell in love with chocolate Labs, but I heard that you can gain weight in overfed and do not exercise enough. What is the recommended amount of exercise and if you have any other advice, that would be appreciated! Thanks
They need much time to work .. I'm here thinking they need to run / exercise (playing Frisbee or apartment search up) twice a day at least and at least 20-30 minutes each session. That's a lot at first, but after castrated and "calm the spirits" in general between 1 1 / 2 and 2, they will not need near that amount of exercise, but it should be safe. Simply burn energy puppy and teach their skills to gather, sit .. time to provide excellent training. The other thing about labs .. Love and did it again in a minute .. is that some of them (like some dogs .. fairer period in the laboratory) to rule on a question Chewing everything .. Nothing could stop .. that is his element! LOL Hondurans, our lab when I was a little girl .. his election was the seat of my father .. My father loved this chair .. as Hondurans .. and finally .. Hondurans do not chew, shoes, leather top, Frisbee or other chew toy, but the president! No matter what my father did, he lost. Thus, the President has found in the yard for Hondurans puppy time passed and went to the landfill. The dog has never done anything Chewing was put to sleep when he was 17 years (I was 4 when we got it – loved all my children). And I think dogs are the best .. great with children, friendly, protective of his life and if you do not live where I could not have one, there would have been with me all my adult life as well. I think dogs are amazing! A thing I must say .. View the table of food .. true for any dog, but if weight is a particular issue (and many dogs who gain weight after being neutered), then the exercise of their fate, no table food and trafficking should be given in small "bites" of a milk bone intact (for example). Most of dogs that are healthy only need to run the steam and that would be my best suggestion for weight control .. let you run a:) grats on your puppy and may all have a wonderful life together filled with all kinds of laughs, touching moments and, of course, the treasure of having a lab .. there is no substitute.
