When should I stop feeding my dog puppy food?
My big boy is 9 months Pyrenees, 131 pounds and 32 "of an area of high ground in the back. Should I stop feeding puppy food and give you a large breed of dog food instead? Or should I keep feeding the food for puppies up to 1 year?
I would. It is very big. And he is old enough to need all the calories in dog food too. I go slowly, you are ready. Add: I took my dogs off at 8 months when I was feeding the puppy food. I switched to Canidae all life stages food if I have to change now. Giant dog breeds do not need food for puppies up to one year, we have no food for all puppies.
