The Bernese Mountain Dog, or the "Berner", as they are affectionately native Switzerland as a breed of farm dog. Because of their heavy, long dress, they were able to the duties and endure in cold environments or mountainous regions covered with snow. The strength of this breed is their temperament and are known to be very stable and intelligent. Bernese Mountain would be better in a house with a fenced yard. The leader must be patient and strong and can handle training. They must also be able to treat this race and socialize at a young age. This race is not very suitable for families with children and any person who controls, or shy. This race would be too much for people with disabilities and / or people of driving age.
